HOPE members now have the opportunity to ratify their new 2018 Meet and Confer Agreement.
On Friday, June 8th, representatives from the City of Houston and your HOPE Bargaining team reached an agreement for the 2018 Meet and Confer Agreement.
The Agreement includes a 3% Across-the-Board Wage Increase for FY 2019, Dispute Resolution Procedure protections, and many other policy improvements that will positively impact ALL City of Houston workers. Follow the link below to see both the summary and the full agreement.

Without YOUR Ratification, there is no new 2018 Meet and Confer Agreement!
In order for the raises, protections, and policy improvements to take place, a simple majority of HOPE members MUST vote "Yes" to accept the 2018 Meet and Confer Agreement. This process is called Ratification.
A Ratified Meet and Confer Agreement is good news for City Workers, Elected Officials, and the Citizens of Houston, as it allows for the City to responsibly conduct business with these adjustments accounted for in the 2019 Fiscal Year starting on July 1st, 2018.
Knowing this, HOPE member leaders, including your Executive Board, Negotiating Team, and Department Union Representatives, will be out at many worksites throughout the City of Houston so that members have the opportunity to vote.
Additionally, HOPE members can vote ONLINE by following the link down below:
